Industry Council Lead – IT
John Rumery has been involved in the West Michigan tech community for over 15 years, including managing SoftwareGR and most recently as the campus director of Grand Circus Grand Rapids (coding bootcamp).
Outside of work he stays active as a volunteer programmer for 88.1FM, WYCE (Uncle John, every other Saturday night, 6-9pm!); gardening and composting; playing with his best buddy, Marmee the rescue dog; and grilling as often as possible. He and his wife have three children, an old cat, and are long-time residents of Northeast Grand Rapids.
