Hiring Events

West Michigan Works! hosts virtual and in-person hiring events for employers with current openings.


We have virtual and in-person workshops on dozens of topics related to job search: career exploration, cover letters, entrepreneurship, interviewing, finances, self-esteem and so much more. Workshops are presented by instructors who are skilled at addressing any barriers between you and learning and can also refer you to other services that might be helpful. Our career navigators are job search experts! They are available to answer your questions, help you register for work or locate online resources.

Our talent development specialists are experts at connecting job seekers to jobs. They know who’s hiring and what jobs are available. They can help you with applications, interview preparation and your resume.

Career coaches are available to job seekers who need additional, one-on-one assistance. You may be available for career assessments to identify current skill and career interests, scholarships for approved training programs and support services.
