Prepare your high school juniors and seniors for graduation with a seven-week Ascend youth program that pays them to participate in career exploration, take a deep dive into their career goals, and engage in work-skills training.
MiCareerLaunch readies youth to enter the workforce or pursue training, with soft skills, resume building and the JOFI career personality assessment. It can also be used as a credit bearing program for at-risk high school seniors to help them graduate.
Details
Students will:
- Attend virtually, live online.
- Attend Mondays through Thursdays, one hour per day, for seven weeks.
- Earn $20 per hour for attending classes for 7 weeks. Stipends are paid at program completion.
- Earn a WorkREADY! Certificate after successfully completing MiCareerLaunch, which can be listed on their resume.
