Emily Babson, SHRM-CP is a Human Resources Professional who is currently serving at the Director of Human Resources at Plascore Inc. Emily brings over a decade of Human Resources expertise, specializing in employee attraction and retention. She graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Applied Arts Degree in Integrated Public Relations with a concentration in Accounting. Emily was a recipient of the Crain’s Grand Rapids 40 under 40 Business Leader Award in 2021 for her leadership in the community and in the field of human resources. She is also the 2019 winner of West Michigan Woman Magazine‘s “People Choice Award”. She has presented both Nationally and Regionally as a Subject Matter Expert in the fields of Recruitment and Employee Engagement. In addition to her passion for workforce development she also serves the community by volunteering her time with organizations that provide support for at-risk and marginalized youth.
