Take your resume to the next level! This VIRTUAL workshop is designed for individuals interested in learning how to create a resume or improve their existing resume.

We recommend you log in at least five minutes before the scheduled workshop start time so you are ready to go when the workshop begins. Late participants will not be allowed to join the meeting.

*It is highly recommended to have your resume available in a digital format (mitalent, flash drive, email) for access during and after the workshop. A hard copy may be useful for you to reference during the workshop.

Join members of our Regional Talent Development Team in this virtual setting to put the finishing touches on that outdated version or sloppy copy! Come prepared to share your draft via Teams (we can walk you through how to do that). We will look at it together in real-time to give you individualized help and recommendations based on current industry standards. This workshop is limited to a very small number of participants to ensure a quality experience, but it is offered on a recurring basis.

In today’s evolving job market, artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way we search for work and navigate the workplace. This interactive workshop will introduce adult learners to AI’s powerful role in job searching and career development. Participants will explore how AI tools—like résumé builders, job matching platforms, and interview simulators—can help highlight their skills and improve their chances of landing the right job. We’ll also take a realistic look at the challenges AI brings, including issues around fairness, privacy, and the need for human connection in hiring.

By the end of the session, learners will leave with practical tips, tools, and a better understanding of how to use AI confidently and responsibly in their career journey.

This workshop will focus on action-oriented goal setting and will offer strategies to help you set and reach your goals, including an in-depth look at the SMART goal setting technique. Common barriers to goal setting and ways to combat procrastination will also be discussed.
