Muskegon Engine Component Manufacturer Is Hiring
CWC Textron manufactures engine components for a variety of applications. Textron has over 6,000 employees on four continents, with a facility located in Muskegon, Michigan. Their Muskegon facility produces 12 million camshafts annually. Fun fact: nearly 30% of vehicles that are made in North America have camshafts that were produced in the Muskegon facility.
To learn more about CWC Textron, we talked to Holly Rolewicz, HRBP, and Dennis Snook, an iron pourer and team leader.

Snook’s job entails pouring molten metal into molds to produce castings. Working in the melt department gets hot, but Snook is quick to point out that there are perks such as a heat bonus, and the company pays for uniforms and boots for the Melt Department. Plus, “the money is good,” said Snook. Starting pay is around $20/hour.
