Area Community Services Employment and Training Council (ACSET)/West Michigan Works! (WMW) is  soliciting proposals for the following services.

Audit Services

Area Community Services Employment and Training Council (ACSET) is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations to conduct a financial and OMB Uniform Guidance audit of its organization for the year ending June 30, 2021. ACSET is a Michigan Council formed under the Urban Cooperation Act and is currently acting as the Grant Subrecipient and fiscal agent under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) (P.L. 113-128) for Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon and Ottawa Counties and the City of Grand Rapids Michigan Works! system.

In-School Youth Program Services

The Area Community Services Employment and Training Council (ACSET), on behalf of its West Michigan Works! (WMW) division, is currently soliciting proposals from organizations interested in operating employment and training projects for its In-School Youth Programs in Kent County. This document presents background information on the proposal solicitation process and presents the format for the proposals to be submitted.

Full RFP                      In-School-Youth Budget Summary

This RFP includes information, instructions, and forms that must be submitted by an organization to be considered as a potential provider of Youth Programs for ACSET. Attachment XII of this RFP is an Intent to Bid form that is required to be signed and returned, no later than 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021. The signed Intent to Bid is mandatory for those organizations that intend to submit a proposal to operate WIOA Youth services.

To be considered for funding, proposals must be received by ACSET no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 to sbush@westmiworks.org. Proposals will not be accepted after this date and time.

ONE STOP OPERATOR FOR WEST MICHIGAN WORKS!

The West Michigan Works! Workforce Development Board is looking for organizations/entities to serve as One-Stop Operator for the following Service Center and affiliate locations:

• Allegan, Allegan County
• Fennville, Allegan County – affiliate
• Hastings, Barry County
• Ionia, Ionia County
• Straight Ave, Grand Rapids, Kent County
• Franklin SE, Grand Rapids, Kent County
• Rockford, Kent County – affiliate
• Greenville, Montcalm County
• Muskegon, Muskegon County
• Holland, Ottawa County

Bidders must serve as the One-Stop Operator for all centers.
