Business Solutions Project Coordinator
Tyler Wayne Clark has over 10 years of program & project management, as well as student development experience, working across several institutions of higher education. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Aquinas College, and a Master of Education Administration from Grand Valley State University. Driven to help people in his professional work, he has now entered workforce development following a return to Grand Rapids after several years in Salt Lake City and the Chicago area. Tyler has spent much of his career managing allocated funding and finding creative ways to maximize resources for developing students and university programs, and is excited to bring these skills to the Business Solutions team with West Michigan Works.
Outside of work, Tyler is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys backpacking, camping, hiking, and hunting. His favorite place to backpack is the Manitou Islands in Lake Michigan, off of the Sleeping Bear Dunes, but he also fondly remembers his time spent exploring Keweenaw and the Lake Superior coastline while working for Michigan Tech. When he’s not outside, Tyler enjoys relaxing with his partner and their pets, spending time with friends and family, and gaming.
