Visit a Service Center

While you’re at a service center you can:

  • Use office resources: computer, phone, fax, copier
  • Search for jobs on the internet
  • Attend a free workshop or hiring event

When you visit you will need:

  • Photo ID showing date of birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Current resume (if available)
  • Job and education history
  • Documentation of Veteran status/DD-214 with dates of service (if applicable)

  • Career exploration and counseling
  • Scholarships for career training and on-the-job training

Search for jobs, register for workshops and find hiring events:

  • Sign up for the Weekly Hot Jobs email to receive a list of hundreds of open positions each week.
  • Check out the annual Hot Jobs! list, which features the most in-demand and fastest-growing jobs in West Michigan
  • Create your Pure Michigan Talent Connect profile:
    1. Click on Create Account
    2. Choose Job Seeker
    3. Complete profile
      • Sign Privacy and Terms of Use Statement
      • Complete contact information, account password and security questions
      • Fill out employment information (refer to your resume)
  • Remember to log-in every 30 days to keep your resume open and active with employers!
