One-Stop Service Centers also provide a variety of resource materials to assist you in finding employment. Videos, books and workshops provide excellent information on industries that are hiring, interviewing tips, resume & cover letter assistance and more. Information on training institutions and community service information are also available.

Long term unemployment, an unsteady economy and new skill requirements can make it difficult to transition into the next job. Michigan Works! staff is available to help you determine a career path, analyze your current job search techniques & strategies and offer advice. Career Coaches can assist you in putting together a plan to help you take your next step.

Michigan Works! offers Career and Skill Assessments to help you determine what career may be a good fit for you. Using quality assessments such as WorkKeys, staff can help you determine the careers your skills would best fit or what areas you may want to work on improving.
