This is your opportunity to:

  • provide information to job seekers about available positions or your organization in general
  • collect application and resumes
  • conduct group or one-on-one interviews
  • recruit for multiple positions


Hiring Events are held at Michigan Works! Service Centers. Interview space, copy machines, fax machine, telephone and computer access are available free of charge

Michigan Works! staff will promote your organization's open positions and your Hiring Event at each service center, through email and social media.

Hiring Events can be held Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm at many one of the West Michigan Works! Service Centers.

Job Fairs

West Michigan Works! sponsors job fairs at low or no cost to employers. This is an opportunity for you to represent your company, do on-the-spot interviews, collect resumes and network with other companies.

Meet the Employer is a scheduled information session. The purpose of these events is to educate job seekers on opportunities available with a company. Companies share information about their organization, culture, opportunities and what they look for when recruiting talent.

• Intermediate school district representative to address recruitment and opportunities
